Plaxton Limited are a British bus manufacturer founded in 1907. Plaxton are currently a subsidiary of Alexander Dennis and mainly produce coach bodies. In 1999, they purchased Northern Counties.

Plaxton were a successful independent coach and bus body-builder between 1907 and 2001, when they were bought by Transbus. After Transbus entered administration in 2004 they became an independent company again, but only for three years; in 2007, they were bought by Alexander Dennis, the successor to Transbus.
